[00:00] [SCREEN 00:00] A black screen with a crossed-out camera icon and the text "Nobody has shared their screen or turned on their camera yet".
[00:02] [SCREEN 00:02] A video call with two participants. On the left is Chris Reader, a young man with short brown hair and a mustache, wearing a dark t-shirt, sitting in a room with a white door. On the right is Antonio, a young man with short brown hair and a beard, wearing a light green t-shirt, sitting in a room with shelves displaying framed items.
[00:02] Chris Reader: Hey everyone, welcome to this week's live call. Super excited to have everybody here. Of course, we've got Antonio on the call as well. Antonio, how's it going, man?
[00:10] Antonio: Hey guys, as usual, happy to be here. Hopefully you guys are as excited as we are.
[00:16] Chris Reader: Yeah, guys, I'm super excited. Just excuse me, I'm a bit sick. I'm actually pretty sick. I've just traveled to my parents' house and I got sick, so that's why I'm also in a different office here. But that's okay, because we're jumping in, guys. We're gonna, we're gonna do a full hour here with you guys answering your questions.
[00:35] Chris Reader: Ideally, we really want to jump into a lot of the actual strategy side, okay? So we want to obviously answer as many technical questions, troubleshooting things that we can for you guys, but we really want to start moving towards getting you guys running ads, getting you guys making money, okay? And I'm sure you guys also want to get to that position as well.
[00:57] Chris Reader: So just a little, um, so yeah, because as you guys know, basically the whole purpose of this group, uh, all of you guys in here is we're handing you guys the winning ads and the winning offers. And our goal is to get you guys to emulate those winning ads as close as possible following our structure, following the training, and launching those ads, right?
[01:21] Chris Reader: And through there, there still will have to be like a testing process, right? There still will be, you know, testing a couple ads, following the evolution method, finding those ads that have good cost per click, good cost per engagement, good ROI, and then scaling up, right? So there is still going to be that journey.
[01:41] Chris Reader: However, from your guys' perspectives, now instead of, you know, having to create like a hundred ads that are all maybe not very good or you don't really have good hooks or you don't really have good bodies, you are basing all of your ads off winners, all right? And it's the same structure that we follow.
[01:59] Chris Reader: So the reason like super affiliates are able to have success so fast and scale so much is because they already have all of their winning ads. They already have a strategy of replicating winning ads. And that is what we've handed to you guys through actually giving you live real winning ads for you guys to emulate, right?
[02:18] Chris Reader: But do you want to speak on that at all, Antonio, before we jump into everything?
[02:23] Antonio: I think honestly that's it, guys. As soon as you understand how to get winning ads that are in the folder and make their own, with your own variations, but actually even trying to improve them, like that's the high standard that you guys need to have. Then you're able to produce an unlimited number of winners.
[02:38] Antonio: And then obviously it's just a matter of follow the million dollar testing protocol, know when to cut your losers fast, but also know how to scale your winners. It's as simple as it is. Obviously easier said than done, but the whole content is in the course.
[02:51] Chris Reader: Exactly. So, all right, so quick, quick little like recap, guys. So let's cover some of the main sort of troubleshooting issues that people have seen and the solutions for them. But also guys, just remember, this is a group of 100 people. So you guys are a group of the 100 people who, you know, got access to this opportunity.
[03:12] Chris Reader: Some of you guys joined earlier than others, okay? And it's not because this isn't live or it's not because you're falling behind or it's not because of any of this. It's just the nature of us delivering and getting you guys onboarded.
[03:25] Chris Reader: So depending on which week, you know, you got emailed, depending on when you booked a call, and depending on when you got onboarded, leaves a wide range of space between when someone may have gotten access before you. And it's completely fine. It doesn't mean you're falling behind. It doesn't mean people are further ahead. It doesn't mean any of this. It's just the nature of, you know, bringing in 100 people into a group, right?
[03:49] Chris Reader: So in saying that, some people will be, uh, you know, some people may be more ahead of you, some people may be more behind you. And again, it's just because if you booked a call, if you got emailed first, like the very first person that got emailed, and then you booked a call immediately, and someone had to wait five days to book a call, and then they had to get onboarded into, you know, there's a, there's a, there's a range of time in which some people have already been progressing. But that is completely fine, okay?
[04:16] Antonio: Yeah, and as usual guys, one final thing as well, just for the few of you who haven't found an approval email in your inbox, most if not like 100% of you guys should have received an email already. So please make sure you look for "OG Group" in your email box, right? Because sometimes it goes to spam, sometimes it goes to a different folder, like whatever, promotions or social.
[04:38] Antonio: Uh, so you should have received your links already in your email. If you haven't, let me know in the chat, no problem. I'll look it for you. But I already found one email from somebody who said they didn't receive it, and I found it already, uh, that it was already sent. So just double check that.
[04:53] Chris Reader: Yeah. And if you guys are unsure if you've been approved or you've been waiting a while, you can also email our support team. Our support team has access to Antonio's like the document of, you know, basically when you guys submit for approval, Antonio's team sees it and then they check, they mark it if it's been approved or not. And then my team can see that and relay it to you guys as well.
[05:16] Antonio: Yeah, and just to be clear, everybody gets approved. So just, just make sure you receive that email. So yeah.
[05:21] Chris Reader: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And everyone does get approved. There's just sometimes there can be delays, you know, if it's, and et cetera, right? But it's not like, oh no, I haven't been approved yet, I might not get approved. Like you will 100% get approved. All right.
[05:36] Chris Reader: So, um, let's go through. So guys, there is, uh, a common, it's not an issue, but there is a new UI for some people. And guys, it's just important to make sure, you know, you watch all the videos, right? So I've even been in the support and some people have been freaking out about how the campaign setup is a bit different.
[05:58] Chris Reader: But guys, we have another video in the training, okay, in module five, I believe, called troubleshooting like ad setup. So some people in the UI, when you get to the, when you get to the point where it says like, uh, prioritize video or, you know, select video or image in the carousel section of the ad level, some people's UI doesn't allow you to select the catalog video.
[06:27] Chris Reader: Okay. If that is happening to you, the very last video in module five, uh, it's called troubleshooting ad setup, has the exact workflow for, for everyone that is having that, that does have that UI. It's still literally the exact same thing. Nothing changes. It's just the UI is changed on where you have to select it. Okay. So if you are having that, that is the solution. Okay.
[06:55] Chris Reader: Um, in other news, some people have started running ads. Um, and a lot of people are already making sales. So I was going to call out Raj because I saw you sent in an email to our team. And guys, when you start making sales, send it to our support team, right? Send it to our, send it to the support at super affiliate edge and let us know.
[07:13] Chris Reader: And Raj, um, he launched his first couple ads and he's already in nearly 300 euros profit with a really, really high ROI, which is awesome.
[07:23] Antonio: Yeah, congrats.
[07:25] Chris Reader: Yeah. We also had Caleb as well. I don't know if Caleb, you're on here, but Caleb has already made like five sales or something, which is awesome. And then we had Steve as well. I saw send in a message. He made around two sales so far, um, on his first ads. Um, and these are all big sales as well, guys. It's not like, you know, 30 dollars or 50 dollars sales. Like if you're getting two, three sales, that's already like four or 500 dollars immediately, right? So that's awesome.
[07:49] Antonio: One thing to note as well, guys, I always say this, but every class, I think I see people still asking, you can run ads 24/7 during the weekend. And by the way, weekends are even better for these types of offers. Uh, I just seen this pattern literally in this niche. So weekends are typically even better than the weekdays. So please, you can run ads at all times. Just make sure you follow the million dollar testing protocol to cut your losers and scale your winners, and you'll be fine.
[08:14] Chris Reader: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, guys, if you've done any other course from me, obviously like pretty much all of you guys have, um, that's the reason why you got access to this group because we know that you guys are like legit marketers, is follow what we teach in this course, right? Like every, every different like offer, every, you know, if you're running YouTube ads, if you're running pay per call, if you're running this or that, they're all the same sort of like thing, but they're different strategies, right?
[08:41] Chris Reader: So that's why like you need to focus what we teach in this training compared to, oh, well, you know, Chris mentioned that I should do this one thing, uh, in this other training that I did from him, so I'm going to do that. It's like, no, you know, follow what we do in this, what we teach you here. Okay. It's why we give you a whole, um, course along with these live calls as well. All right.
[09:02] Chris Reader: Uh, in other news, in other news, we got more people. Um, Alex just had my first sale today. Uh, got my first two sales, uh, from Tuan. Nice work. And then, uh, Wulu just said she's made first sales. I think you're a she or a he, not too sure. Sorry about that. Uh, right. But, um, congratulations to everyone.
[09:22] Chris Reader: Again, if you guys haven't set up your campaigns yet, don't worry. You're not falling behind. Just stick with the protocol, stick with the process. And, um, yeah, you guys will start getting sales, uh, as well.
[09:34] Chris Reader: So let's jump into some questions here. Someone said, um, Jocelyn said, I'm getting a lot of unattributed costs on ClickMagick. Is this because of the duplication? No, right? So duplicating does not affect attribution at all. Okay. Um, duplicating is a strategy that I've, you know, most marketers use all the time.
[10:01] Chris Reader: And funnily enough, because of when I started, when Antonio taught me this strategy on Facebook where we're doing more duplicating than like I've ever really done before, because each ad gets duplicated 25 to 50 times. So that means if you're running like seven ads, there's like hundreds and hundreds of duplicates.
[10:18] Chris Reader: I actually emailed, uh, I'm, I've got a relationship with the owner of ClickMagick and I emailed him saying, hey, if I've got like the same exact ad duplicated like a thousand times, is that going to affect costs or attribution? And he said not at all, because it's the individual, each ad you have, even if it's a duplicate, has a unique ad ID code, which is what gets tracked on ClickMagick. Okay.
[10:45] Chris Reader: So when you say you're, you're getting a lot of unattributed costs on ClickMagick, one thing to make sure is you get, uh, ClickMagick updates costs every kind of hour. Okay. So it, it does update costs every round about hour.
[11:01] Chris Reader: Plus also remember your ClickMagick project is going to be in euros. So it's, if you've spent like a hundred Aussie dollars, Australian dollars on your campaign, in ClickMagick it will only show as like 50 euros. Okay. Because it's going to do the conversion for you. All right.
[11:20] Chris Reader: So they're the two most important things. Make sure you give ClickMagick time to update its costs. Secondly, make sure you understand the conversion rate, because if you're expecting to see a hundred dollars in your ClickMagick when it's tracking euros and you're spending in, uh, Australian dollars, there is going to be a difference there as well.
[11:40] Chris Reader: But so let us know if you, you guys are having un, um, unattributed costs.
[11:46] Chris Reader: And then the second part of the question here you said, I find my stats are not represented properly and so therefore are skewed because these costs are not taken into account. I.e. my cost per engagements would be most likely higher. That is correct, yeah. Um, is there anything I can do? Am I the only person having this problem? If it was only a few dollars I wouldn't be asking, but it's a significant amount to worry about.
[12:09] Chris Reader: So that was my other question, like is it a lot or is it a significant amount? But the main thing I want to ask you again is, are you, you're making sure it's going to show euros in ClickMagick. Okay. So like I said, I don't know what the conversion rate from USD to euros is right now. Let me look.
[12:27] Antonio: And also just remember as well guys, the source of truth for costs is always going to be Facebook because Facebook is the one charging you, right? So even if ClickMagick obviously is not 100% accurate, which it should, uh, Facebook is the source of truth. So if you want to know exactly how much you spend, you can just check Facebook cost.
[12:44] Chris Reader: Yeah. And you do have to sometimes do that kind of juggling, which is why in the training I show you, like in the training I give you guys that breakdown of like, you know, ClickMagick has all the data in there, right? However, when you want to look at specific metrics to just compare, okay, the spend and the CPC, you look at Facebook. All right.
[13:08] Chris Reader: Um, the sales, revenue amount, you can look at DigiStore. Now ClickMagick is going to pull them in together, but if you do want to double check things, you need to know where to like look at, right? So for example, you don't look at ClickMagick for your cost per click. Okay. You look at Facebook for your cost per click when you make your decisions there.
[13:26] Chris Reader: Um, but I just saw, yeah, euros to USD, right? One US dollar equals 80 cents, 85 cents euros. So if you've spent 200 US dollars, only 170 dollars will appear in ClickMagick. So it's important that you understand that, because if you've spent 200 dollars US, you know, your, your ClickMagick account won't show 200 dollars. It will show 170. Plus it then takes an hour to update. So there can be a little bit of a lag there. All right.
[13:59] Chris Reader: If, okay, if you guys are having issues with attribution of costs, the way I set it up works, but sometimes there can be, I don't know why, I think it's just because Facebook's updated a lot of their things. Um, as long as it's pulling the API from the pixel, it should be fine.
[14:16] Chris Reader: However, if you guys are having cost attribution issues, you can also integrate your ClickMagick with your ad account. Okay. So I'm going to just reveal the steps here. It's very, very simple. But you go into your ClickMagick account, you click the top right profile icon. Okay. So you, you just go into your profile icon and then you select integrations. You select that integrations, you select Facebook, and then you just follow the prompts.
[14:47] Chris Reader: It's going to make you log into Facebook, you select your page. The page doesn't really matter as well, to be honest, guys. Like if you make multiple pages, it won't matter. But just select a page and then select your ad account. Okay. And then that will help with the attribution as well. So then you can link your ad account with ClickMagick. So that's also a way to do it.
[15:12] Chris Reader: Okay. So I, I would actually just advise everyone may as well just do that. If your costs are updating fine, you don't really need to do it, but you, you can integrate it. Okay.
[15:23] Chris Reader: Um, all right. Okay. So make sure you guys integrate your ClickMagick to your ad account as well. All right. So, um, and that can help with the issue there. All right, let's continue.
[15:40] Chris Reader: Jeff also said started, uh, got my first conversion. Awesome. Um, let me scroll down and find some good questions here. All right. Okay. Sorry. Just takes a bit with this new software because every time you click a question, you have to like scroll back down to find it. Um, all right. All right, all right, all right. Okay, one sec. All right.
[16:12] Chris Reader: So someone said, I'm trying to, um, I'm trying to read the Facebook data after my ad ran and it says 23 to 28% of my ads are shown to men. I had women checked so I don't know where to find time viewed for the video.
[16:28] Antonio: I think that's more of like a, that's like an ad setup. So she's trying to, you know how you, so there's a setting guys where you can select time viewed on video to make sure your, your ads are showing the video as priority. Um, so yeah.
[16:43] Antonio: Yeah, so that setting, you would go to customize columns. Uh, then you would have impressions, you, you need to create a custom metric actually. First you need to create a custom metric. Then you would do, uh, I believe it's impressions divided by, oh sorry, it's the other way around. Video plays divided by impressions. This is going to be a percentage. That's what I call a, uh, play rate.
[17:08] Antonio: And then this, this needs to be around or over ideally 90%. So that's how you know your video is getting the most spend.
[17:16] Antonio: And the main setting by the way guys for the catalog ads, this is in the training by the way, but it's very important, is that you're able to find the checkbox that says "prioritize the video". So when you have that checkbox, you know Facebook is going to be trying to prioritize the video.
[17:30] Antonio: If you haven't found that checkbox, that might be an issue where Facebook is just spending more on the white hat image, which is not the goal, obviously. This is like a random image, right? So please, very important, uh, if you're finding an issue like that on the ad setup, probably just couldn't find the checkbox, um, of prioritize video.
[17:46] Antonio: And, uh, it's weird that it's spending more on men regardless. The first thing I would check is that one. The second thing I would do honestly is just pause that campaign and duplicate it. Honestly, sometimes it works as well. Uh, because it is very weird.
[17:59] Antonio: However, the million dollar testing protocol is more important. So second stage, if it's already spending and it's getting checkouts at a good rate, obviously I wouldn't touch it. I would just touch it if results are not good and you're finding that in the data.
[18:12] Chris Reader: Yeah. So, so yeah guys, even though, so again, yeah, just to sort of re-emphasize that, yeah, you need to make sure you're setting your ad set up and you need to prioritize the video. So again, um, some people were emailing in and were saying, oh, I can't find that section in my UI. And that's why we've created another video because the UI for some people's, for new ad accounts or some people's ad accounts, the prior, there's a different setup to get to that prioritized video.
[18:39] Chris Reader: It's literally the exact same setup, but like one of the, the, the options is set at the campaign level rather than the ad level. So you don't need to think, oh, my UI is different, I'm going to be at a disadvantage. It's literally the same, they've just put a setting somewhere else, right?
[18:56] Chris Reader: And the reason why you want to do the play rate, guys, okay, the play rate is because even when we're doing the prioritized video, you will, you will potentially notice guys that sometimes one of your videos, one of your campaigns will not spend, like will not prioritize the actual video and it will go to the white hat image.
[19:18] Chris Reader: So that's not very common, um, at least from what I've seen. I don't know if you've seen it, Antonio, but it can happen. Okay. And in that case, if it does happen to you guys, you just, yeah, just turn the campaign off and just re-duplicate it. Because, you know, for whatever reason the Facebook algorithm is not paying attention to that prioritized video section. And so we just turn it off and redo it.
[19:41] Chris Reader: But again, all of this, that's just like a kind of caveat, just to, it's just kind of like hygiene, you just make sure you check it out. But again, a lot of all of this stuff gets solved with the, uh, testing protocol. Because if your video is not getting prioritized, then you're going to have a really bad cost per click, which means you're going to turn your ad off instantly anyway, okay?
[20:02] Antonio: By the way, I'm seeing a message from Wujo. She's saying how much she spent and how much she's got back. So far she spent 119 USD and she made 516 with two, with three sales I believe, right? Two or three. But that's freaking awesome regardless, Wujo. Congrats. I want to shout you out personally and out loud. So that's awesome.
[20:21] Chris Reader: Wujo is a male, by the way. Yeah, sorry. So good to know. Well, then we got you that locked in. It's also good to see so many familiar faces as well, everyone. But yeah, congrats. Nice work.
[20:31] Chris Reader: And guys, yeah, these are the type of ROIs and the results that you guys are going to start seeing. Um, and we're going to get into a lot of the ad running strategy, which we're really excited to do. What we'll even be doing, guys, is we'll even be bringing up people's, um, people's ad accounts. Like for example, when we're doing the ad account submissions, like we'll, we'll bring some people's ad accounts up that are doing well and we'll show you guys like, oh, look, this is how me and Antonio would scale this campaign, scale this campaign, scale this ad. All right.
[21:01] Chris Reader: Um, the other great thing about this, guys, is again, you're going to be seeing a lot higher of a hit rate. So when you're running ads blind, if you don't really know how to create really good ads, you know, you will have to create a lot of ads to find something that works and something that makes sales. But something that makes sales and something that scales is also quite different, right?
[21:26] Chris Reader: However, with this, you guys are going to have a very high hit rate on things that are making sales. You know, not, I'm not going to claim that every single ad that you guys emulate of ours will be a scalable ad, okay? Because you still have to test, right? You still definitely have to test.
[21:42] Chris Reader: But every ad that you run will have a very high hit rate in terms of making sales, which is good because then every time you make a sale, you now get a bankroll and you've covered all of your ad spend, right? Like if you spend, you know, 100 dollars on an ad and make 170 dollars and it's not a scalable ad, you're still in profit and you've covered your ad spend for the next tests, right? Which is why, you know, this is so awesome.
[22:08] Chris Reader: Um, one other thing guys I do want to mention about, so the other question said that they've selected women only but they're still getting a percentage of men. This can still sometimes happen regardless because Facebook kind of always, it can still happen, right? Sometimes I've had campaigns where like I've definitely got, you know, women only selected and I'll have a percentage of men. Again, you just want to pay attention to the split testing protocol.
[22:35] Chris Reader: However, in your ad setup, there is like a, in the demographic section, there is a section that says like "suggested" and then there is like the actual demographics. So sometimes you can select in your demographics, you know, women, but then in the suggested one, there's, I don't know why, but in the UI sometimes there's like two options in the demographics. There's like the bottom one, which is again the demographics, and then it's like limited to or the suggested one or something, right?
[23:07] Chris Reader: So you, you want to make sure you just double check both of those that they're both set to like women and then the age range. Because if you have the, if you have the suggested one as women, but then the actual demographics as men, then again it will prefer women, but it will still, it will still send to men if Facebook's algorithm thinks it will perform well. Okay.
[23:29] Chris Reader: Um, yes. All right. And Antonio, feel free to call out any questions that you see. I'm just going from the bottom to the top here.
[23:41] Chris Reader: All right. Linda here. Oh, this is awesome. All right. Running Slim Jara, just made my first sale. Dizzy with excitement. Awesome. Congratulations. 180 euros, so 211 dollars. Nice work. Um, miraculous, it's all working, my tracking's working. Uh, this is a new ad that I just launched today. Spend so far 31 dollars, CPM is 42 dollars, CTR is 3.50, CTR is, I think you meant CPC is a dollar 20. Cost per checkout and purchase, because they got one checkout, one purchase, is 31 dollars. ROAS is six. So they've made six times their money, which is awesome.
[24:28] Chris Reader: Um, and then they mentioned their EPC. EPC is not that important, guys, so I'm not going to really mention that. It's mainly just like the cost per engagement and so on. Um, but yeah, nice. So, um, I don't see a question in here, more just like excitement. So that's awesome. Yeah. So congratulations, right? Yeah. 31 dollar cost per checkout is great. Your CPC is brilliant. Your, all your stats are aligned, which is awesome. So that's great.
[24:59] Chris Reader: Um, and what I think we should talk about...
[25:00] Chris Reader: And what I think we should talk about a bit Antonio is just like the importance of like the split testing protocol now. Because I have seen some questions come through to me, through to support, saying hey like you know my ads are making sales but they're not you know scalable or you know I'm making a lot of sales but what do I do now or etc. So guys the key is always split testing protocol. That's literally the key okay. So when you start getting ads, like ideally you want to have you you'll have a really high hit rate of ads making sales which is brilliant okay. But again like I said not every ad that makes sales will be scalable and you kind of want to be focusing then on like the cost per engagement. That's what we say because you know when I launch ads every single ad I have gets a cost per engagement gets engagements okay. But I if I've got like three or four ads running and one has a cost per engagement of $60 and then one has a cost per engagement of $30, well obviously the cost per engagement ad at $30 is the better one that I should be focusing on okay. So it really comes down to just following that testing protocol. Another thing I heard from someone as well is they were following the testing protocol for all the campaigns as a whole which is not correct guys. It's per campaign. So he had actually turned off some ads that were profitable because he was clumping all the data in. Alright it needs to be per campaign. But do you want to speak on that Antonio maybe just like try to bridge the gap.
[26:44] Antonio: Yeah I think I mentioned this in one of the trainings guys but make decisions at the campaign level. Right every campaign is its own learning container let's say is where you make decisions right because it's CBO. So remember guys CBO which is the the the by the way so sorry so sorry it's ABO but because of the strategy it's a duped ad sets campaign strategy uh we make decisions at the campaign level. So sorry if this is confusing sometimes but it's very important. So you make decisions at the campaign level meaning when you're going to be looking at the spend then CPC then cost per checkout based on the spend you're going to be looking at the campaign level. Regardless of the number of duplicates you're going to be looking how much that specific campaign spent which once again in this structure is one campaign one ad regardless of the number of duplicates right. Um and that's it. That's how you make decisions. And then obviously you're not only making decisions on the daily basis but also as an average of the overall for that campaign. So for example if uh for today the campaign spent $30 and no checkouts obviously it's not amazing but for the past three days if you got the if you got a sale you know maybe it spends let's say 90 bucks but it got a sale so it's profitable right. So on average it's profitable. So you always need to be looking on the averages which I mentioned in the training looking at the campaign level to decide that and also on the daily basis just looking if the day is being terrible because this can happen sometimes.
[28:11] Antonio: If this happens right so if you just have an absolutely terrible day so I'm going to give you a very specific example um let's say your CPC is typically $1 right but suddenly on a Tuesday your CPC is $2 let's say it's double. What I do for these days I just pause everything for that day and I relaunch for the next day. Another thing to bear in mind as well guys I told you guys before weekends are typically very good for these offers right. So a lot of the times the offers do a little bit better during the weekend than a little bit worse during weekdays right. So it's very important for you guys to understand that as well. Having said that to summarize decisions at the campaign level looking at averages and if you have a very very bad day in terms of intermediate metrics you can always pause for that day and relaunch for the following day.
[29:01] Chris Reader: And I would also give a caveat on pausing like you might have a day that it's really bad today but then if you look at its lifetime it's still very profitable and in that case like you just you know leave it on because not everything will be perfect every day that's why you look at the overall. Um the other thing as well guys with the million dollar testing protocol is you're looking at its lifetime spent. So gate one gate two gate three. That is so gate one will obviously be hit in the first day pretty much. Gate two it's not you don't have to so gate one is like 20 30 dollars gate three gate sorry gate gate two is like you know around 40 dollars ish 50 dollars. You don't have to spend that total amount in a day. It's the accumulative okay. So it's not like oh I have to spend 50 dollars today to hit gate two. No it's all previous days data it's all previous days data alright. So even for example on day one you may have got two checkouts and then on day two you got zero checkouts. But if you look at the lifetime of that campaign if its cost per engagement or cost per checkout is still good then you leave it on right because it's the total. Okay.
[30:22] Antonio: Very important as well guys one thing I see especially beginners doing um but I think a lot of a lot of people when they're starting uh a new niche uh they do that as well is for example they get a winner right so they find a winner that got high commissions so it's profitable. Uh one metric I always look guys two things even when it's profitable I'm always looking at the cost per checkout following the million dollar testing protocol to see if it's under the benchmark or not. Because if it's at or under the benchmark meaning it's doing really well right because it's less expensive per checkout then I know that ad is probably going to be consistent right. So I'm looking always at two metrics obviously ROI is the most important one and obviously cost per checkout is super important. Not sure why the balloons just just happened but no problem. Uh but just regardless um everybody's laughing okay you guys can laugh at me no problem okay just balloons popped up God.
[31:16] Antonio: But uh but regardless of that um don't throw your ad in the trash if now it had like two or three bad days right. A lot of people do that you found one really good ad but if these two metrics are online ROI and then obviously even if it spends a couple days without making sales and but ROI overall is still good and the cost per checkout is still good try to look at that ad because that was the the one ad that got you sales right. So ads that get you sales are giving you very important information. So I just don't throw them in the trash and I start testing completely new stuff. Look at those ads that give you guys the initial sales and see how you can improve them. And you guys can see in our reviews you can always improve even good ads right. You can always either do a better hook but sometimes just make more dopamine throughout the ad just add more scenes throughout the ad you know what I mean. Make make the change the scenes change faster for example or look at your transcripts and check how you can make it even more engaging maybe cut out the fluff a bit right. Maybe even more direct concise without all the fluff and with more mental triggers. So guys that's very important I think don't just start testing completely new stuff all the time after you start getting some sales because I see a lot of you guys already getting some sales right even if it's one or two this is important information right. If you have just one or two ads at least try to build upon that. Don't try testing completely from scratch. Just one final thing as I see Chris is already having insights as well to share uh after I find a winner I always do two very for the next three ads that I launch I test two variations of the winner and one completely new one because I want to keep testing completely new ones but I still want to be doing variations of the winners.
[33:01] Chris Reader: How do you get the balloons I want the balloons. I think it's when you do a thumbs up or something. Uh anyway so exactly what Antonio said guys because that's something that's that's key you know and even in the ad reviews I think we've been seeing that. Um so it's important to understand like the flow of things right. So the the split testing protocol gets followed for every single ad every single ad you run even if you're scaling an ad even if you've got a even if you're duplicating. And guys when we say ads let's just make sure we're all on the same line we think of like our campaign now for this method as an ad. So when we're saying ad it's the campaign level. Alright and just another recap never ever do we individually look at the ads performances guys. So we don't look into the ad level we don't go into the campaign into the ad set and then look at the ads or the ad sets. We don't think oh this one ad set made one sale and then this one didn't so let me turn off that ad set. We it's all clustered as one. So we don't go in and micromanage the ad sets. We make the decisions at the campaign level okay. So we don't go in and micromanage anything. We don't even look in there. We just look at the campaign as if it's one thing only and that's our ad alright. That's going to save you guys a lot of you know that's important to understand that.
[34:27] Chris Reader: Then it's important so the split testing protocol every single ad follows it whether it's a new ad you're testing whether it's a new evolution or variation whether it's a duplicate of a winner. Every it always follows that process. And then you go to the evolution method okay. So the evolution method lays out the structure for you guys in what to then test. So like Antonio said if you had something that's got a good cost per engagement or it's made a sale you want to ideally be testing more variations of that. And like Antonio said if you're going to do three tests test two variations of something that made a sale so following the evolution and one unique right because you want to put more attention to what's working rather than kind of moving away. So you still want to do new things but you also want to play it play where it's working. Now one thing as well within the evolution method there is uh the X mode right which is the evolution method is a strategic structure right it's you know testing new visual hooks alright then you find the best visual hook because that captures the the attention. You test a new script hook then you test new avatars then you test the etc you follow through it. But there is also a method in the X mode sorry in the evolution method which I just call the X mode and X mode means it can come into play anywhere. And that's where you make three unique variations of your entire ad. So rather than just changing the opening scene or the opening hook you still follow that but if that's not really getting you anywhere and it's not really improving it well we still don't want to just abandon the ad entirely because it could have elements in it that's working. So in the X mode we take your ad that's performed good and made sales and we act like it's the like the draft and you create three variations of that ad where you're keeping all the key elements right. So you're you're going to keep the script kind of the same but you're going to try and like beef it up a bit. And so I say this because there's so many ways to change scripts like you can change one script into an entirely different script and you could write an entirely different script. But in the X mode it's like let's keep your script that's working right and let's test three variations of it. So I give you examples of how to do that. It could be just the entire video editing style is different. It could be you've gone a lot more aggressive on the hook and the villain and you've added social proof or it could be if you didn't have social proof you know you add a testimonial in there. So rather than just testing these like one-off elements in the evolution method at this level you're testing a whole shit you're just testing like everything in that ad trying to like beef it up. Like if this is your ad now how can you make three variations that you're like reviewing it and trying to make it better three times. And that can then help you and then it's it's kind of a different ad but it's still based on a winner okay but it's bigger variations alright.
[37:37] Antonio: Guys very important to receive your payouts as well make sure you accept the Digistore Ireland reseller contract. This is within your Digistore that's very important just so you can receive you're going to receive your payouts regardless but so it actually goes through you need to accept the Ireland reseller contract. That's important. Yeah. But go ahead sorry go ahead go ahead. Quick reminder guys uh you always need a new pixel for a new offer vertical right. So if you're running Slim Jaro and you want to start running Memo Guard you're going to need a new pixel for that. Having said that I do and by the way if you already had a pixel with data before this training and now uh you want to run even if it's in the same account it's not a problem but you need to change the pixel. It needs to be a brand new pixel with no previous data. Having said that I do not recommend that you guys keep switching offers. I will only switch an offer if I've already tested five to ten ads and I haven't I wasn't able to crack that specific offer. Only in that case I would test to see if I can crack another offer. But just don't go like you test two ads and now you change offers. You're just starting to find the patterns for that specific offer it doesn't make sense to keep changing.
[38:47] Chris Reader: Yeah and plus it's you know the we we give you the best offers. So it's not like another method where you know you have to test all these ads and then there's like 50 different products that you need to try and find so you're kind of just like throwing everything at the wall. Like you guys know that these offers work so you want to really actually try like they work you know what I mean. So you need to get your ads to work. There's very limited having to actually go and try and identify now offers that are working because you already have them you know.
[39:17] Antonio: Yeah guys remember as well um every vertical so like memory Slim Jaro etc it has its own triggers right. So making people want to lose weight both visually and in terms of the script is very different than helping people who are losing their memory. So the more you start understanding the scripts the words and the visuals that work for that specific niche the more you're going to get better in that niche. So that's why it's always not good to keep context switching because you're just going to lose on understanding those patterns more and more.
[39:53] Chris Reader: Hmm yeah. Um alright so let's try and wrap we've we've kind of harped on a little bit about these things guys we haven't answered I feel like we haven't answered that many questions yet. But again because it's like every question really just comes down to like what we're kind of saying here. It's like the split testing protocol and the evolution method. That's like everything just kind of falls into place when you understand those things. But let's try and now answer these. So someone said where will we find the latest ads. So guys we will be uploading uh new winners coming up. There hasn't really been a need to upload like you know you guys are still sort of getting the ropes of everything. So we will be uploading new winning ads shortly. But you there's so many in there right now that we kind of want to get you guys just focusing on like making good ads rather than just copying winners badly. You know what I mean like there's a lot more work to but we will be we will be providing them for you guys do not worry about that.
[40:48] Chris Reader: Um Cheryl said having difficulty generating quality text to video prompts. Um it just comes with experience guys you know like I I do know that like editing videos can be a bit difficult for you guys like you know using the timeline editor and stuff like this. It's a new skill but it's a skill that's very very valuable right. And then in terms of generating AI like visuals it really just comes down to just practice you know what I mean. I give you you know and also using Claude to help you write a visual. Um also uh try not doing text to video prompts. So you guys can actually find images on Google or you can make an image with AI and then you can turn that image into a video. So if you're struggling to get like a specific text to video of someone pouring something or someone mixing something or whatever you want to make try doing it with an image to video. Image to video will make you will get you like exactly what you want every time but it's more processes. Um and I demonstrate that because you can create an image of exactly what you want and then you can you can turn that image into a video of exactly what you want right. But these are all just like AI sort of skills that you will that you will uh get the hang of. So image to video is also really good. Also what you could do guys as well is you can find videos on YouTube. Alright so that's also a strategy that I teach and discuss in the training. You can find you could look up healthy weight loss ginger juice you know ginger ginger weight loss drink and you can find videos on YouTube as well to take little clips and b-roll from alright. And you would just have to download them and then upload them into you know superior ads and then you would just edit them in just like any other video editor alright.
[42:52] Chris Reader: Um alright so let me go down here someone said curious as to why Chris uses Claude Opus 4.6 and not 4.7. 4.7 literally came out like two days after I filmed the video because it came out like a week ago or so. So I recommend using Opus as the key it doesn't matter what Opus you use.
[43:13] Chris Reader: Um alright so this is a common question I'm sort of seeing here. So I have an ad that meets the three KPIs and has good ROAS and one sale nice work congratulations. Should we wait for a minimum of two sales before horizontally scaling. That's a good question. So yeah the more data you have the better and there is no harm you know especially if you made a sale really fast out of the gate there's no harm in letting it sit there and especially if you have a lot of ROAS right. You could have such high ROAS that your ad sits there for another three days before it makes another sale and it's still 200% ROAS. But I'll let you take that Antonio.
[43:53] Antonio: Correct. I would specially so once again remember guys I told you the weekends are specially good. So if you want to do if you want to test something a little bit more aggressive and that that's a really good benchmark overall for these niches guys. And by the way even for other campaigns you're running if you find a pattern you can start playing around with the rules a bit. If you want to do something a little bit more aggressive so for example horizontal scaling uh for an ad that only has one sale I would probably do it during the weekend because it's typically when the campaigns are even more profitable typically not always but typically. Having said that more important things to look at because that's the short answer not a long answer. Uh always check the cost per checkout right. So make sure the cost per checkout is always consistent as well just so it wasn't a lucky sale. Like for example if the cost per checkout is 100 bucks and you got a sale for 100 bucks you're definitely profitable but the cost per checkout is too high right. So it's probably not going to be consistent because you're not going to have a checkout rates of 100% all the time that's impossible right. The average is probably it really depends but it can be like 20 to 25% it depends a bit right. So look at the cost per checkout as well see if it's good. If it's also good honestly it will probably make more sense already try duplicating already and seeing if it can scale. Um but I do like looking at two sales because a lot of the times it's a lucky sale to be honest.
[45:12] Chris Reader: Yeah and you guys will get the sort of pattern down here. Um obviously the more sales you have and the more your data looks good the more likely it is to perform. Uh if you wanted to be really aggressive look you can just sort of horizontally scale it and then you would figure out straight away if it's going to perform or not. But again it could put you know if it's not going to perform well now you've got something that's not going to perform. The other thing you could do as well if you want to be a bit aggressive but you want to still wait is if it did make one sale just evolve it straight away just make it just do the evolution method create three variations of that ad and launch it. Um that because then at least you're still actively testing more things and then you'll be able to you'll be able to compare. But again you always want to evolve what's performing the best. So if you've only ran one thing and it made one sale like I would just let it sit for a couple days and identify what is actually performing the best so you can evolve that.
[46:17] Chris Reader: Um alright let me try to get through some of these questions. I can see Antonio's answered heaps of your questions as well by the way so I'm not going to re-answer those ones. Um alright let me go through here. Alright I think um someone said so should the should should my avatars someone said so should I have my avatar generate the entire script or just use short short clips to save on credits. Look it guys it entirely depends on what strategy you want to do right. So obviously the the avatar works really well but you do have to have b-roll throughout it. But you don't have to have an entire avatar for the whole video right. It is going to typically perform better but as you guys will see in the memory offer and you guys want to spot patterns. So in the weight loss niche you can see that all of the winning ads have like an avatar. But if you look at the memory niche not all of them have the avatar. Sometimes it's just the avatar speaking for the first like 20 30 seconds right. So it just depends on like what type of ad that you want to create okay.
[48:37] Antonio: Yeah and honestly I'm going to be blunt here. Uh I think it's a great question by the way Jason. Uh please don't worry about credits. Like think about what's the absolute best ad that you can create based on the winning patterns that you have seen so that it converts the best. Because like one winning ad is going to generate you like thousands and thousands of dollars so literally. So you don't have to think about oh I'm going to save on like I don't know 20 bucks or 50 bucks in credits literally. So obviously if you have seen a pattern sure but yeah.
[49:07] Chris Reader: And that's a really good point because in the training I try to give you guys like alright look if you don't want to spend a lot of credits you know because I you know because I don't I just I have like I don't even know I just have so many credits and for me I just spend with AI tools maybe it's like bad but I have so many different AI tools I spend so much money on AI tools it's like ridiculous right. But I don't even think of it because for me it's like such a superpower you know and it helps me make so much more money. Uh but obviously not everyone's in that position. But you will potentially lose money if you're trying to make really cheap ads and it still ends up costing you you know you might have to test like you know if you test 10 20 ads and you think you're doing it cheap but now you've got 10 20 times the amount of credits you've tested when you could have just generated one good ad and even if it didn't wasn't scaling you make one sale for 170 bucks and you've paid for all your credits for the month. So it's like you know you want to make good ads.
[50:00] Chris Reader: you make one sale for $170 and you know, you've made all of that back, right? So that's actually a really good point. I tried to teach you guys different ways, but I think what Antonio said is really important. Try not to think about the credits because again, if you're trying to go really stingy and cheap, it might end up costing you more in the long run rather than just making one really good video and making a sale immediately which then covers the next 10 ads you want to test. That's a really good frame.
[50:37] Chris Reader: So Ryan, we literally just answered that exact question, okay? So I'm not going to re-answer it. So that's the other thing guys, if we're answering a question, make sure to pay attention because we just answered that literal question, okay?
[50:53] Chris Reader: So someone said, do you need to generate the avatar footage if you know you're going to use b-roll in those sections? I would, because the b-roll is only like three to four seconds. So having to then generate like, oh, I'm going to generate this paragraph but not this word, and then this paragraph and not this word of the avatar, you're just going to, like it's not going to, I just generate the entire avatar. Because again, if you want to come from that angle of being really cheap, of like, oh, I'm going to put b-roll over this one sentence, so I'm not going to generate that sentence of the avatar, you then now need to spend like 20 minutes highlighting the sections you want the avatar to speak, then you need to generate those individually, then you need to generate the voice for the other sections, then you need to generate the b-roll, and that is going to take you like literally 10 times longer. Right? And plus you can reuse the avatars and the scripts, right? Like you might generate a script and it works, and an avatar, and it works, and then in the evolution process, you're going to just reuse that with different editing, alright? So you can reuse those same clips.
[52:10] Chris Reader: Alright, alright, let's go through, okay.
[52:23] Chris Reader: Yeah, guys, if you have modules locked, it's for a specific reason, okay? We unlock every module depending on where you're at in the training for a specific reason. So you need to make sure you're following everything because, you know, I've been running courses for a long time and trust me, you know, if we let people launch ads as soon as they want, they're just going to waste time and money because their ads are not that good, right? Which is just a part of the process, okay?
[52:54] Chris Reader: Alright, so let's now have a look. Alright, we've come up to time here, but let's spend a little bit more time just to review some ads, I think. Antonio, what do you think?
[53:09] Antonio: Yeah, let's do it.
[53:11] Chris Reader: Alright, but guys, it's awesome again to see a lot of people starting to run ads. As you can see, a lot of people are already making money and profitable, not just making sales, which is awesome. If you're not at that point yet, do not worry. Guys, you're all a part, I just want to, sometimes people get anxious or they freak out when they hear, oh, someone's running ads already making sales, I haven't even got up to that part. You're all a part of the 100 people, you're all getting the exact same amount, it's not like someone's getting more training than you because you've joined maybe more recently. You're all getting the same amount of stuff, okay? It's actually potentially better because now you can learn from people's mistakes and wins if you're a little bit behind, alright?
[53:50] Antonio: Guys, do I sound better with this microphone now? I am testing this. Let me know.
[53:56] Chris Reader: I think it sounds better.
[53:57] Antonio: Awesome.
[54:03] Chris Reader: Alright, Jacka in the chat says that they've ran a couple ads with not good stats. So I'm going to try and find your ad in here. But this ad was submitted like nearly, this ad was submitted a long time ago, Jacka. So Jack Jack in the chat. So again, you know, I don't really want to review that because it's so old, so I'm not going to review it. If you want your ad to be, Jacka, you said you've ran like 10 ads with no engagements, so you need to submit your ad. I'm not going to review an ad that's like two weeks old or something like that, because it could have changed. So I'm going to review some new ones.
[54:46] Chris Reader: Alright, okay, let's review this. I'll pick just a couple random here. Just a sec. This one here. Alright. So one of these here apparently has spent $50 with no engagements. So let's have a look at that one. See what we've got.
[55:38] [SCREEN 05:40] Google Drive video player showing an ad. The video shows two women eating pizza and salad. Text overlay: "Über 45".
[55:40] Chris Reader: Alright, you guys can see the screen? Let me know if you guys can see the screen here.
[55:46] Antonio: Yes.
[55:48] Chris Reader: Alright.
[55:51] [SCREEN 05:51] The video plays. Text overlay changes: "Eine Frau", "Bist Die", "Die Waage", "Das An", "Alle Teilen", "Kaum Bewegt", "Sorgfältig Isst", "Den Ingwer". Visuals change to someone cutting ginger.
[55:57] Chris Reader: Alright, I'm going to just mute it. Alright, so first things first, it's a weak opening scene. Okay? Guys, we really need to get the basics understood here. Okay? So we're not going to beat around the bush. It's a bad opening scene. Horrible opening scene. Nowhere in the training do we teach you to do an opening scene like this, okay? So every single person right now on the call, like do not run an ad if you do not understand how to create a good opening scene. Alright? You're going to save yourself so much time, money, and effort because the opening scenes should be, like I teach three ways, okay? Mechanism, they all need to be weird or curiosity building or like viral. This of just a person eating a salad and a pizza has literally nothing to do with any of the psychology of an opening scene. Alright? So this ad I would have never ran, okay? Just straight away, because it doesn't, like there's no psychology, there's nothing that we teach in this opening scene at all. Just a woman eating a pizza and a salad, it's got none of it. Doesn't have any weird curiosity element, doesn't have any pattern interrupt, doesn't have any viral crazy weird thing. It's just a horrible opening scene, okay?
[57:10] Antonio: And guys, remember the first seconds are so, so important. Like you want to be setting up the expectations like you want. So for example, if you're running weight loss, in the first like literally five seconds, I want to have like already at least two or three scenes. One of them is related to the trick, right? For example, the ginger trick. Another one is related to losing weight. And another one is just pure curiosity based. And that's why it's so powerful already in the first seconds. If it starts with the pizza thing, it doesn't make as much sense, honestly. So yeah, pick these frames in the first like five to ten seconds like as one of the most important parts of the video because it is.
[57:51] Chris Reader: Yeah. And again, the opening scene here, it is five, like it's around four seconds long. So the length of it's not that bad, it's just the visual, the opening scene, it's just, you know, you're going to get really, um, you're just going to, it's just, you're not going to have that performance of an ad because it's not interesting. There's no one, there's no gripping element, alright? So let's have a look. So these visuals are good. This is actually the same visuals Antonio teaches.
[58:20] [SCREEN 08:20] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Es Gemacht", "Den Gerade".
[58:20] Chris Reader: One big issue again, guys, is you need to make sure your stuff's cropped correctly. So see this line here? This means that they haven't actually dragged it into place. And like I teach guys, just make everything a little bit bigger so it overlaps. But this is just so basic to fix, okay? You just, you just need to be paying attention to when you're generating it, alright?
[58:43] [SCREEN 08:43] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Es Mit", "Macht Was", "Ist Hat".
[58:49] [SCREEN 08:49] Video shows someone putting lemon slices in a jar. Text overlay: "Habe Ich", "Arzt Angerufen", "Rezept Mit".
[58:49] Chris Reader: Okay, that's alright. It's okay. It's okay.
[58:56] [SCREEN 08:56] Video shows a woman taking a selfie in a mirror. Text overlay: "Tage Später", "Hatte Ich", "Völlig Schockiert".
[58:56] Chris Reader: So this spent $50 with no engagements. Um, let me see, let's keep playing. Let me see if they wrote anything else in here. Oh. Sorry. Clicked the wrong thing.
[59:05] [SCREEN 09:05] Google Drive folder showing files: "32-Ad.mp4", "32-Ad script.mp4", "32-Ad script.mp4".
[59:12] [SCREEN 09:12] Video shows two women eating pizza. Text overlay: "Wenn Du".
[59:13] [SCREEN 09:13] Video shows a woman in workout clothes. Text overlay: "17 Kilo", "Konnte Glauben".
[59:17] [SCREEN 09:17] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Bin So", "Verpasst Und", "Zeige Ich".
[59:17] Chris Reader: It had a cost per click of $1.12, which is not bad.
[59:24] [SCREEN 09:24] Video shows a woman working out. Text overlay: "Machst Und".
[59:28] [SCREEN 09:28] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Einfach Nicht".
[59:30] [SCREEN 09:30] Video shows someone putting ginger in a blender. Text overlay: "Disziplin", "War Anfangs", "Wollte Schnell", "Die Hochzeit", "Täglich Gemacht", "Fehler Obwohl".
[59:42] [SCREEN 09:42] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Normal Gegessen", "Habe Pizza", "Und Ich".
[59:48] [SCREEN 09:48] Video shows someone cutting yellow flowers/herbs. Text overlay: "21 Tagen", "Man Sieht".
[59:52] [SCREEN 09:52] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Hopkins Und", "Harvard Bestätigen".
[59:55] Chris Reader: Yeah, I mean, so overall the visuals and the editing is pretty good. You just have a really weak opening scene. So I don't see anything specifically bad with this. It's actually very good. You're just opening scene's quite weak. You had a $1.10 cost per click, which is also good. So there is also, there is also another thing guys, sometimes you're not doing anything wrong, right? Like not every ad will get an engagement at $50. And that's why we have the split testing protocol. So there is also the other thing of people sort of freaking out because, you know, they've ran two, three ads without engagements. That's completely fine. The key is we emulate winning ads until we find one that works. Alright? And that's the whole process, right? And that's why we have the evolution method and all this sort of stuff. So for this ad, I would definitely test it with different, well actually no, I wouldn't evolve this ad because it doesn't have an engagement and it doesn't have a sale. Okay? So you only want to evolve ads that have sales and engagements. There's not, because there's so many different scripts that you guys can test. Like the key again is to test a wide range of scripts, you know, emulate the ones that we have, copy the bodies, copy, you know, then have some that are like the same bodies, some that are modified bodies. You can also take the, you know, I recommend doing a wide range of tests early. Don't just think guys, oh, I'm just going to copy literally, I'm not going to listen to Chris's strategy of having 50% of my scripts more unique, and I'm just going to copy all of Chris and Antonio's scripts word for word. That's, you're going to just set yourself up for failure, alright? You want to do 50% of your ads have the same body and then you're testing hooks, just to see if you find any easy wins there. And then 50% of all of your scripts have completely modified bodies based on the winners. And also the other strategy is take, if you're doing weight loss, take a script from memory and turn it into weight loss, because that's going to make it unique, it's taking a winning structure. Alright? But, you know, you need to, just because you've ran two, three ads and you don't have any engagements guys, it doesn't mean that you're necessarily doing anything wrong. Like this ad, the visuals are quite great. It's all edited really good. You just, your opening scene sucks. So for just every new ad, just make sure your opening scenes are good. Yeah.
[1:02:01] Antonio: And honestly, this is one of the rare cases where because the opening scene is so important and it's so bad, I would honestly just try changing and making the hook so much better, like the first 10 seconds. And personally, I would relaunch that ad just because I know it takes a lot of effort to like redo the whole ad, and the rest of that ad seems decent. So I would just try to improve the hook, the first 10 seconds.
[1:02:23] [SCREEN 12:23] Video shows someone cutting ginger. Text overlay: "Mir Wurde", "Teilen Aber", "Dich Bis".
[1:02:24] Chris Reader: This opening scene is a bit better. But um, it's still not as good, you know what I mean? Like with the, like guys, you have the opening scene, like the recipe, this is a recipe visual, which is alright, it's better than the other one.
[1:02:30] [SCREEN 12:30] Video shows a before/after weight loss photo. Text overlay: "Xs Bringt".
[1:02:31] Chris Reader: But it's still not a recipe misuse. It's still not a viral element. It's still not a weird thing. Like it's a bit weird, like it's just in the nature, it's like interesting because it's they're doing something, it's engaging, but it still doesn't have that like misuse element or that weird thing grabbing them in. Alright? Guys, you literally have our winning opening scenes there for you. So like you can look at them and spot the patterns between them. Alright?
[1:03:18] [SCREEN 13:18] Video shows a before/after weight loss photo. Text overlay: "Dann Schafft".
[1:03:19] [SCREEN 13:19] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Der Berühmte", "Gut Zu", "Zu Hause".
[1:03:25] [SCREEN 13:25] Video shows a woman standing. Text overlay: "Weil Ich".
[1:03:28] [SCREEN 13:28] Video shows someone cutting an orange. Text overlay: "Zum Abnehmen", "Zehn Tage".
[1:03:31] [SCREEN 13:31] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Fitnessstudio Deshalb".
[1:03:33] [SCREEN 13:33] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Thermogenikur Wenn".

[1:03:40] [SCREEN 13:40] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Sagte", "Moderatorinnen Und".
[1:03:41] Antonio: Oh, I like that. I like the the medical kind of visual. I really like that.
[1:03:44] [SCREEN 13:44] Video shows a 3D animation of fat cells burning. Text overlay: "Verbrennen Es", "Haben Mit".
[1:03:46] Chris Reader: Yeah, the medical visuals are good as well. Definitely.
[1:03:48] [SCREEN 13:48] Video shows someone cutting ginger. Text overlay: "Anwenden".
[1:03:50] [SCREEN 13:50] Video shows someone putting lemon slices in a pot.
[1:03:52] [SCREEN 13:52] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Habe War".
[1:03:53] Chris Reader: You can also test guys, like you might have a video, and this is also with the evolution method, like the X mode, where you just take all the visuals and make them more cartoony and medical looking. Right? Like you have some recipes, but you just load it with like heaps of these sort of, um, medical style visuals. Because that's really sort of stimulating and like, you know, interesting looking. But this editing style is great. You've got a lot of, you've got a lot of different visuals, unique, you know, recipes, you know, transformations, medical ones, and they're all good pacing.
[1:04:06] [SCREEN 14:06] Video shows a 3D animation of a digestive system.
[1:04:09] [SCREEN 14:09] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Sagte Es", "Moderatorinnen Und".
[1:04:12] [SCREEN 14:12] Video shows a 3D animation of fat cells burning. Text overlay: "Verbrennen Es".
[1:04:14] [SCREEN 14:14] Video shows a 3D animation of fat cells. Text overlay: "Entwickelt Haben".
[1:04:16] [SCREEN 14:16] Video shows a woman showing her loose pants. Text overlay: "Weiten Kleidern".
[1:04:18] [SCREEN 14:18] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "In Einer", "Hat Hat".
[1:04:22] [SCREEN 14:22] Video shows a woman taking a mirror selfie. Text overlay: "Frauen In".
[1:04:24] [SCREEN 14:24] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Bereits Angewendet", "Frauengesundh".
[1:04:26] Antonio: Yeah, and by the way, I love the realistic transformations. It's something I haven't seen as much in most people's videos guys. Look how you have some realistic video transformations. I really like that in videos, really do.
[1:04:28] [SCREEN 14:28] Video shows someone putting a lid on an ice cube tray. Text overlay: "Möchte Muss", "Eingeschränkt Und".
[1:04:32] [SCREEN 14:32] Video shows a woman speaking.
[1:04:34] [SCREEN 14:34] Video shows a woman showing her loose pants. Text overlay: "Ich Mich", "Innerhalb Der".
[1:04:38] [SCREEN 14:38] Video shows a woman taking a mirror selfie. Text overlay: "Ausprobiert".
[1:04:40] [SCREEN 14:40] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Du Dran".
[1:04:42] [SCREEN 14:42] Video shows a woman taking a mirror selfie. Text overlay: "Haben Diesen".
[1:04:44] [SCREEN 14:44] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Bereits Angewendet".
[1:04:43] Chris Reader: Yeah. So overall that looks good. So I give this an A+ in video editing. Again, you've only tested one of them and it hasn't made engagements, and that's totally fine guys. Like again, you know, we're going to be testing more than three ads, right? So not every ad, even if me and Antonio make the best ad ever in the world, sometimes they just won't get engagements. And that's why we just have this conveyor belt, testing brand new ads, following the testing protocol, right? And sure guys, you know, I'm going to say this as well, sometimes there is like a touch of luck, right? There is a touch of luck, but we don't want to bet with luck. Like I know some people they used to launch every single ad three times because they wanted to make sure that it got tested well. But the reality is then you're wasting three times the amount of money on an ad when like a good ad would just perform straight away. So, you know, what do you think of that?
[1:05:37] Antonio: Yeah, just so you know, at a very high level, like some people who really want to make sure that the amazing ad they think is amazing is good, they test in like different ad accounts, they test it multiple times. But I don't recommend that because like Chris said, uh, you can't depend on luck, right? Honestly. So you just need to make sure that they use the data that you have. Having said that, I do see, for example, even 50 bucks with no engagements is not completely crazy, right? Like it's not a lot of money, honestly. So, um, so yeah, you can sometimes it's just that as well. And that's why a lot of the times, because you spend so much time running an ad, even with early data, like at least engagements I would say, sometimes it's better to really try to improve the ad that you have data on so much and create variations of it, than just keep testing completely new stuff. Always keep testing completely new stuff. That's why I say even when you have engagements and sales, I always try always testing at least one completely new ad out of three, so I'm keep finding new stuff. But also trying to evolve the ads that I already have data for.
[1:05:59] [SCREEN 15:59] Video shows someone pouring a dark liquid over ginger. Text overlay: "Dafür Sogar".
[1:06:44] Chris Reader: Yeah, and with the one we just looked at, with the bad opening scene, that's an easy just test it, you know what I mean? Because you just have to change the opening scene and you just see. However guys, I don't recommend evolving ads that do not have engagements or sales. Because then you're putting yourself at a disadvantage. Because you're always going to get further having a broader perspective rather than just like, oh, I tested one ad, I've only made one ad, so now I'm just going to keep evolving that one ad until it works. When the reality is entirely different scripts, angles, emotions, all of that stuff is really key.
[1:07:29] Chris Reader: Um, alright. Rob, I'm not sure what you're saying. You said when translating to German, it's always 30 to 40 more words. I mean, yeah, it can be, that's fine, right? Alright, let's have a look at this ad. I don't know what you mean by that. Uh, some of my ads are over four minutes, should over four minutes long, should I keep them around three minutes? Like, you know, you can test four minute long ads, but again, spot the pattern with our ads. Like what is the average length of our winning ads? You know? If an ad goes four minutes long, you don't have to rework the entire thing, but try to test a variance of like shorter ads, longer ads, and again, see what works.
[1:08:12] [SCREEN 18:12] Video shows someone pouring a dark liquid over ginger. Text overlay: "Verklagt Werden", "Das Zu".
[1:08:12] Chris Reader: Okay, so let's have a look at this ad here.
[1:08:17] [SCREEN 18:17] Video shows a wooden board with sliced lemons, oranges, and ginger. Text overlay: "Sagen Aber".
[1:08:19] [SCREEN 18:19] Video shows someone pouring a dark liquid over ginger. Text overlay: "Ich Könnte".
[1:08:19] Chris Reader: Interesting opening scene, but again, it doesn't have the popping. It doesn't look as good as you think it looks right now. Yes, it's ticking the box of Coke being poured on ginger, but it could look better. Okay? It could look like a real Coke bottle, it could look like it's in a real kitchen, and it could look better. Okay? So in the examples of like our winning ads, it literally looks like a Coke bottle being poured on ginger in a real kitchen. This looks like it's got the AI sort of, like it's like post, it's been like edited, it's got like a filter on it, it's dark. It looks like it's not real in someone's kitchen. Okay? So this is what I would recommend to improve on that.
[1:09:08] [SCREEN 19:08] Video shows someone pouring a dark liquid over ginger. Text overlay: "Ich Könnte".
[1:09:09] Chris Reader: And I would probably have the ginger kind of like chopped or something, so it looks like they're actually making a recipe. You know, if someone's got sliced ginger pieces and they're pouring it in a kitchen, it looks more realistic. Okay? Which is important.
[1:09:25] [SCREEN 19:25] Video shows a wooden board with sliced lemons, oranges, and ginger. Text overlay: "Wenn Dieser".
[1:09:25] Chris Reader: Then you go to this, which is an image. Another thing as well guys, this is the most common mistake I'm seeing with people is they're not, you know, there's gaps. There's gaps on both sides of this guys. So this is something guys, every single person needs to fix this. Like you should not ever download an ad with these gaps. Alright? And it's just so simple, you need to get into the habit of when you're editing stuff, just make sure you drag it into the corners, okay?
[1:09:56] [SCREEN 19:56] Video shows someone pouring a dark liquid over ginger. Text overlay: "Verklagt Werden", "Das Zu".
[1:09:56] Chris Reader: So that's an issue. You're doing good, so I'm not trying to like tear everything down, but I'm just trying to say now we need to get into the point of getting everything to like the top level, right? Because getting something from this to the top level is like a 1% change, you know, it's so easy, right? Like once you understand what to do, then it's just like a lot simpler.
[1:10:18] [SCREEN 20:18] Video shows a wooden board with sliced lemons, oranges, and ginger. Text overlay: "Sagen Aber", "Wenn Dieser".
[1:10:19] Chris Reader: This is not a good opening scene again because it's an image. I don't know why you would put an image of this as well, it's not that interesting either, it's just like a platter of food. If you wanted to, you know, do a, again, guys, I cannot say it enough, you literally have our winning ads. So literally get your ad that you've edited and then look at one of our winning ads and ask yourself, does any of them have an image as the second scene? The answer is would be absolutely not, right?
[1:10:49] [SCREEN 20:49] Video shows an older woman grating ginger. Text overlay: "Ingwer Trick", "Dich Bis".
[1:10:50] Chris Reader: Alright, well it's not an image because it moves a bit, but it's still, it doesn't do anything, right? It's not, it's not engaging, right?
[1:11:00] [SCREEN 21:00] Video shows an older woman grating ginger. Text overlay: "Ende Des", "In Größe".
[1:11:00] Chris Reader: This is engaging.
[1:11:03] [SCREEN 21:03] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Nichts Nicht", "Berühmte Injektionsstift".
[1:11:03] Chris Reader: This is good.
[1:11:07] [SCREEN 21:07] Video shows a woman showing her loose pants. Text overlay: "Hör Gut".
[1:11:07] Chris Reader: This is good.
[1:11:09] [SCREEN 21:09] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Hause Hast", "Nächsten Aldi".
[1:11:14] [SCREEN 21:14] Video shows a 3D animation of a female muscular system. Text overlay: "Bis Zu".
[1:11:15] [SCREEN 21:15] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Nächsten Aldi".
[1:11:17] [SCREEN 21:17] Video shows a wooden board with sliced lemons, oranges, and ginger. Text overlay: "Könntest Die".
[1:11:16] Chris Reader: But again, the visuals here, like this looks like a, this doesn't look like a real recipe thing, right? No one, this looks like a stock image that is happens to be a video, right? So again, you want to see on our winning videos, do they look like this? And the answer is no. So what this other person was doing is good, right? Like this is looks like it's someone cutting fruit. Right? It's like real. Breaking ginger. Right? And these are from YouTube as well, I can tell. And you can replicate them from YouTube, but you need to make sure they look real. Like they need to look like real recipe videos, they can't look like professionally shot photo shoots. And it's also not interesting, you know what I mean? It's just someone grabbing like a melon off a board, it doesn't have any curiosity or it doesn't show an action of like making something.
[1:12:15] [SCREEN 22:15] Video shows a 3D animation of a female muscular system. Text overlay: "Pro Tag".
[1:12:17] [SCREEN 22:17] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Niemals Öffentlich", "Profil Teilen".
[1:12:23] [SCREEN 22:23] Video shows a split screen: left side is a woman in a kitchen, right side is a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Wo Sie", "Kulissen Bei", "Aber Jetzt".
22:24] Chris Reader: I wouldn't do a split screen like this, this just looks really bad. If you're going to do a split screen, this just looks really bad, you know what I mean? Like you've got half the woman's face cut off and half the visual cut off. So if you wanted to do split screen, it can work like this if you've got two videos that are would work, but this doesn't work. I would have it split screened, but this just looks bad, you know what I mean?
[1:12:51] [SCREEN 22:51] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Nicht Mehr".
[1:12:53] [SCREEN 22:53] Video shows a split screen: left side is a woman in a kitchen, right side is a woman speaking. Text overlay: "RTL Arbeitet".
[1:12:54] Chris Reader: I can't see what either of them are doing. I can't see what the person on the left's doing and I can't even see the person on the face's right.
[1:12:55] [SCREEN 22:55] Video shows a cup of tea with lemon and ginger. Text overlay: "Geheimnis Endlich", "Kann Ich", "Euch Dieses".
[1:12:59] Chris Reader: Same thing with this, right? This doesn't look like a real video, this looks like a staged photo and it looks too AI-y, too professional. Right?
[1:13:11] [SCREEN 23:11] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Gibt Eine", "Spitzenernährung".
[1:13:15] [SCREEN 23:15] Video shows someone putting lids on small jars. Text overlay: "Haben Reserviert".
[1:13:16] Chris Reader: You know, this looks alright, this looks good because they're like making something. But again, the same issue here, you can see that the image is not pulled, it's not placed on the screen properly, right? You can see these gaps. See this gap?
[1:13:21] [SCREEN 23:21] Video shows someone putting lids on small jars. Text overlay: "Verschluss Gehalten", "Haben Reserviert".
[1:13:32] [SCREEN 23:32] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Für Privatpatienten".
[1:13:34] [SCREEN 23:34] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Waren Über", "Euro Dafür".
[1:13:37] [SCREEN 23:37] Video shows someone peeling a lemon. Text overlay: "Und Jetzt", "Sie Euch".
[1:13:41] [SCREEN 23:41] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Du Ingwer".
[1:13:43] [SCREEN 23:43] Video shows someone peeling a lemon. Text overlay: "Für Absolut".
[1:13:45] [SCREEN 23:45] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Nichts Wenn".
[1:13:47] [SCREEN 23:47] Video shows someone putting lemon slices in a pot. Text overlay: "Anderen Zutaten".
[1:13:49] [SCREEN 23:49] Video shows someone pouring a liquid into a glass. Text overlay: "Lang Konsequent".
[1:13:44] Chris Reader: You know, that's not that good either. This is alright visual. This is alright visual. Because it's like pouring something.
[1:13:53] [SCREEN 23:53] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Zu Fragen", "Etwas Machen".
[1:13:59] [SCREEN 23:59] Video shows an older woman holding a lemon and an orange. Text overlay: "Mehr Fett".
[1:14:01] [SCREEN 24:01] Video shows a split screen of a woman before and after weight loss. Text overlay: "Trendige Schlankheitsspritz".
[1:14:05] [SCREEN 24:05] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Forscher An".
[1:14:08] [SCREEN 24:08] Video shows a woman speaking. Text overlay: "Thermogenen Beschleuniger".
[1:14:09] [SCREEN 24:09] Video shows a woman using a blender. Text overlay: "Eingestuft Wenn", "Verbindungen Kombiniert".
[1:14:13] [SCREEN 24:13] Video shows someone pouring liquid into an ice cube tray. Text overlay: "Eine Metabolische", "2023 Zeigte", "Eine Steigerung".
[1:14:19] [SCREEN 24:19] Video shows a woman's back with loose skin. Text overlay: "Um Bis", "Prozent Bei", "Zu 47".
[1:13:59] Chris Reader: This is alright. This is alright. This is okay. It's also alright. This is good. Just going through, you know, hopefully this is helping. That I wouldn't use, that looks really weird. And it doesn't look realistic, you know, it looks like CGI. So if you're going to, yeah, like if you're going to do like the CGI, make it look like CGI, like this, because people know it's fake. Where something like this, they just feel like you're trying to make it look real.
[1:14:35] [SCREEN 24:35] Video shows a 3D animation of a female muscular system. Text overlay: "Bis Zu".
[1:14:37] [SCREEN 24:37] Video shows a 3D animation of a female muscular system. Text overlay: "Einem Kilo".
[1:14:39] [SCREEN 24:39] Video shows a woman's back with loose skin. Text overlay: "Um Bis".
[1:14:41] [SCREEN 24:41] Video shows a woman's back with loose skin. Text overlay: "Der Fettoxidation".
[1:14:42] Chris Reader: And again, also the same issue here with these gaps. So the person that submitted this asked a question saying, is there a way to cut the long pauses from the avatar? Look, that's not your issue, you know what I mean? The issue is not that the avatar is pausing when they're speaking, you've got a lot more issues than that, okay?
[1:15:00] CHRIS READER: issues than that, okay? And again, the gap. See this gap? Guys, none of your videos should have this. This is just like you wake up in the morning and you don't brush your teeth. You know, like it's so basic. You just need to get, you just need to do it every single time, right?
[SCREEN 1:15:00] Google Drive video player showing a vertical video ad. The video shows a woman's bare back with some skin folds. Text overlay: "DerFettoxidation". The video is paused. On the left, two video tiles: Chris Reader (top) and Antonio (bottom).
[SCREEN 1:15:18] The video plays. It shows a woman in a pink sports bra speaking to the camera. Text overlay: "Prozent Bei".
[1:15:19] CHRIS READER: And I would never make anything look CGI when it's trying to be real. Like make it either like animation or not.
[1:15:26] ANTONIO: That's a really good feedback actually for visuals in general. Don't be in between. Literally don't be in between. If it's a little bit unrealistic, it just should be a complete animation. But if it needs to be realistic, it needs to be hyper-realistic. Even the Coke thing, right? Why is it not top, top level? Because you can feel it's AI and you're trying to make it realistic. At the end of the day, that's the problem. You know what I mean?
[SCREEN 1:15:49] The video shows a woman in a kitchen making a smoothie in a blender. Text overlay: "Deutschen Institutionen".
[1:15:49] ANTONIO: So you need to be really top-notch for the stuff that you want to make it realistic. If you really can't, yeah, then just make it an animation, right?
[SCREEN 1:16:00] The video shows a woman pouring ingredients into a blender. Text overlay: "Fachleute Dahinter".
[1:16:00] ANTONIO: Like, yeah, that one feels like AI. I could be wrong, but.
[1:16:03] CHRIS READER: No, yeah, that one's, it's not. And again, it's because it's got this weird glare, right?
[1:16:09] ANTONIO: The perfect skin. You can see it in the skin.
[1:16:11] CHRIS READER: Yeah, but it's like, it's like perfect sort of like sun coming in. It's not like, you know, see how this avatar speaking, if this avatar speaking had like perfect lighting like this, it wouldn't feel real, you know?
[SCREEN 1:16:26] The video shows the woman in the pink sports bra again.
[1:16:27] CHRIS READER: But you know, it's like natural real lighting. This as well, see how it's like super zoomed in and close.
[SCREEN 1:16:30] The video shows close-up hands pouring ingredients into a blender. Text overlay: "Zugänglich Zu".
[1:16:37] CHRIS READER: So we could do some more trainings and stuff guys of like generating AI images, but it just comes with experience. Like I would just be sitting there and just experimenting the same way you guys should be. So the biggest key is like get, just experiment, right? Like sit there and just experiment. Like instead of making one Coke visual, make one Coke visual on like SeaArt, Kling, Grok, and then look at oh which one looks kind of better.
[SCREEN 1:17:00] The video shows a close-up of a dark liquid being poured over ginger root. Text overlay: "Ich Könnte".
[1:17:09] CHRIS READER: And then do three, four more prompts. Do like literally, you know, you're gonna have to spend some credits. Generating the actual image clips, these b-roll clips doesn't cost much at all guys, right? It's like a couple cents. So get it out of the way. Literally just generate like a hundred different b-roll clips guys and learn what works, see what works. Identify alright what model works good. You know, try three or four or literally try ten different prompts across all four models.
[1:17:42] CHRIS READER: So that's what, 40 different b-rolls you've generated. And it will give you an idea, oh this style of prompt generates a realistic thing. This model is working better than the other models. Even if you don't use any of those 40 b-rolls you generated guys, it's not lost money because you have now understood how to make things way better. And it's better doing that than like, cause it's practice, right?
[1:18:08] CHRIS READER: It's better doing that than like, oh I generated this one clip, I'm gonna use this one clip, you know? Because you get better and better and better as you go. So it's important about this, okay?
[SCREEN 1:18:26] The video shows a woman pouring ingredients into a blender. Text overlay: "Aus Angst".
[1:18:26] CHRIS READER: So we'll keep going here.
[SCREEN 1:18:30] The video shows a woman taking a mirror selfie. Text overlay: "Aufgehört An".
[1:18:32] ANTONIO: Okay, so sorry I need to go, but Chris if you want to keep going.
[1:18:34] CHRIS READER: Yeah, yeah. No worries, no worries. I'm about to, I'm about to wrap up here, but you can jump off. I'll keep going here. See you Antonio.
[1:18:39] ANTONIO: Appreciate you guys, as usual.
[1:18:41] CHRIS READER: No worries. Alright. Guys, we'll finish here in a bit here. Alright, see you Antonio.
[1:18:52] CHRIS READER: Alright.
[SCREEN 1:18:56] The video shows the woman in the pink sports bra. Text overlay: "Krank Fühlen".
[1:18:58] CHRIS READER: So these are good. These are nice. These are good visuals. See how they look more like realistic? Like the more realistic lighting and stuff.
[SCREEN 1:19:00] The video shows a woman taking a mirror selfie. Text overlay: "Versteckt Sagte".
[1:19:10] CHRIS READER: I'm just sort of skipping through here. Where this is alright, it's okay. This is not that good.
[SCREEN 1:19:12] The video shows hands slicing ginger. Text overlay: "Abzusagen Weil".
[SCREEN 1:19:16] The video shows a woman running in a city street. Text overlay: "Der Waage".
[SCREEN 1:19:24] The video shows a glass of liquid with ginger and powder next to it. Text overlay: "KLICKEN SIE AUF MEHR ERFAHREN!". A red arrow points down.
[1:19:24] CHRIS READER: Yeah, and that's pretty much it. Alright guys, so do you have any questions? I do have to run here as well, but do you guys have any questions on this, on the process here, okay? Of like generating the visuals. And it's not so much that, you know, it just comes with practice guys. So I can't say it enough where like don't be afraid to learn how to use the tool because it will cost you more money in the long run, right?
[1:19:55] CHRIS READER: Like spending, for example, spending money on an ad with bad b-roll is gonna cost you $50 to test, when you could have, and now every ad that you test that doesn't perform because it's got bad visuals is costing you money. So spend some money early to get familiar with the tool, to get familiar with how to generate b-roll, right? So that's really important because rather than thinking, oh I don't want to make, I don't want to play around in the AI studio to generate clips because I don't want to waste credits.
[1:20:30] CHRIS READER: So I'm just gonna generate one here, ah alright it looks okay whatever, and you don't have anything to reference it from because you've only generated one so you don't even know if it looks good or not. Ideally you should be understanding what looks good now from me teaching you. But think about it that way, cause now if you're generating, now you've generated this ad when you could have made your ad images and visuals better.
[1:20:56] CHRIS READER: Well now you're gonna test it with real money on actual Facebook, and if it doesn't perform, well you've wasted money on Facebook now anyway, right? So it's better to practice and spend money upfront practicing, and cause you can identify what works. You can understand alright Kling looks really good for this stuff, I'm gonna just use Kling. You might just like Kling the most and just use Kling for everything. You might like SeaArt the most and just use SeaArt for everything, okay?
[1:21:24] CHRIS READER: But there is so much more benefit of like just playing and generating a shit ton of b-rolls that you want and identifying what looks the best, what works the best. Even if you don't use them, because it's gonna save you money because now you know how to generate really good b-rolls and you don't have to waste money on actual ads that are bad, okay?
[1:21:48] CHRIS READER: So yeah, it makes a lot of sense investing in actually learning to make good videos. Yeah, exactly, right? It's gonna save you money in the long run because then every video you run is actually good, cause you have to spend ad spend on it anyway.
[1:22:04] CHRIS READER: Someone said they all need to be AI right, you don't pull them out of YouTube, correct? You can pull them out of YouTube, right? You can take different b-roll clips from YouTube, but I do recommend having a mix. Sometimes I just do it all with AI because I can get the exact visuals I want and I don't have to, you know, crop and edit it and figure out what I want. I like using the AI.
[1:22:26] CHRIS READER: But sometimes you can use different b-roll clips from YouTube, but you still want to add some things in there, like for example, you know, things like this, like the medical scenes, and specific videos for the mechanism, before and afters, things like this, right? You know, the Coke being poured. But there are definitely clips you can take from YouTube as well.
[SCREEN 1:22:26] The video shows a 3D animation of the female muscular system. Text overlay: "Einem Kilo".
[SCREEN 1:22:36] The video shows the 3D animation again. Text overlay: "Pro Tag".
[SCREEN 1:22:46] The video shows the close-up of dark liquid being poured over ginger root. Text overlay: "Verklagt Werden".
[1:22:52] CHRIS READER: Someone said can you use an image and turn it to a video in superior ads? Yes you can, I teach it in the training. You definitely can, right? And that can help you, cause you can get an image that looks really real and then you can turn it into a video. So you could even do this.
[SCREEN 1:23:08] Chris opens a new tab in Google Chrome and searches for "coke pouring on ginger".
[SCREEN 1:23:15] Google Images search results for "coke pouring on ginger". Various images of Coca-Cola, ginger, and drinks are displayed.
[1:23:18] CHRIS READER: Um, you know, like even any of the, any image ever, you know, you could literally take any image and turn it into a video. You can get AI to generate you an image and then you can turn it into a video. You could take an image and turn it into a video. And guys, you can even, like I teach in the training, you can even take a video of like Coke.
[SCREEN 1:23:42] Chris changes the search query to "coke".
[SCREEN 1:23:44] Google Images search results for "coke". Various images of Coca-Cola bottles and cans are displayed.
[1:23:46] Chris clicks on an image of a 600ml Coca-Cola bottle.
[1:23:42] CHRIS READER: You can take an image of a Coke bottle, put this into the image generator tool and say Coke pouring on ginger, and it will take this exact image and make it pouring on ginger. So you can even make images with reference images as well, alright?
[1:24:03] CHRIS READER: What's the easiest way to do before and afters in superior ads? Again, it just comes down to prompting. Um, you know, I would make an image first. And it just comes down to prompting and testing the different models, okay? Like, you know, Kling, SeaArt, Grok, you know, there's a lot more different image models out there. It just comes down to really testing, using Claude to help you create different prompts, um, and so on.
[1:24:35] CHRIS READER: Yeah, so someone said I might offer that generating or finding proper good b-roll visuals is the hardest part so far. Yeah, it is the hardest part guys, cause it's really the only part that you have to actually do, right? Like we've done all of the script structure for you, you've got an AI tool that does all the scripting. Um, so it's the hardest part cause it's really the only part that you guys actually have to do, which is editing the videos, right?
[1:25:00] CHRIS READER: So that's why you have to get, you know, you will get experience with it, okay? And that's why I suggest, you know, rather than just like, oh I'm gonna make one ad, I'm only gonna generate like the exact amount of visuals I need, spend a day literally playing around with the AI studio, generating different things, testing different things, and getting experience with it.
[1:25:24] CHRIS READER: Um, alright guys, that is all for this session. Um, so we're gonna finish up there. Thank you all for jumping on. Um, again guys, there is still some, some, you know, make sure, again, your opening visuals are good. Make sure you don't have any of the editing mistakes. Make sure everything's aligned in the visuals. Okay, like make sure there's no gaps.
[SCREEN 1:25:45] Chris switches back to the Google Drive tab showing the video ad. He scrubs through the timeline.
[SCREEN 1:25:46] The video shows a woman pouring water into a blender. Text overlay: "Stärksten Unterdrückten". There is a black gap at the top and bottom of the video.
[1:25:46] CHRIS READER: See these gap? This is a gap. This has got a gap. Um, this has got a gap, here. Make sure there's no gaps. Make sure your visuals, your b-roll looks good. Make sure your opening scene is always exactly like one of the opening scenes we teach you guys.
[SCREEN 1:25:50] The video shows a close-up of a yellow liquid being poured. Text overlay: "Moderner Gewichtsverlustwis". There is a black gap at the top and bottom.
[SCREEN 1:25:51] The video shows the woman's bare back again. Text overlay: "Zu 47". There is a black gap at the top and bottom.
[SCREEN 1:25:54] The video shows a woman in a kitchen using a blender. Text overlay: "Eingestuft Wenn". There is a black gap at the top and bottom.
[SCREEN 1:26:01] Chris switches to the Google Drive folder view "Edge Video Ads". The folder contains one file: "Ad1_Script1.mp4".
[1:26:01] CHRIS READER: And um, yeah, keep at it guys. And again, remember, not every ad that has brilliant cost per click will get engagements. Not every ad that has engagements will be profitable. It's just about cycling through these and finding the ones that are, and then following the evolution method, okay?
[1:26:23] CHRIS READER: Alright. Awesome, awesome. Alright, thanks everyone. We'll see you guys all on the next call. Thanks guys, bye. See you everyone.
